(CBS Connecticut) — A doctor who practices in Norwich was charged today with sexually assaulting a patient.
Police say the 18-year-old woman was being treated for an injury at the Concentra Urgent Care office on Connecticut Avenue in Norwich on March 30, when she was sexually assaulted.
Police say she was attacked by a doctor who was treating her, Manoj Saxena.
Saxena was charged with first degree and fourth degree sexual assault.
The 44-year-ol Mansfield resident posted $100,000 bond.
He is due in court May 28.
In a written statement, Concentra said it would cooperate with the police, but refused to comment on the pending matter.
