DOVER, Del. — The body of Major General Harold Greene is back on US soil.

His casket arrived Thursday at Dover Air Force Base.

The longtime officer was killed Tuesday at a military training facility in Kabul, Afghanistan.

He was leading the US effort in training Afghan soldiers.

The Taliban has acknowledged the incident, but not claimed responsibility for it.

The pentagon says an investigation is underway.
