Country Music Fans Flood North Shore For Concert At PNC Park

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Tens of thousands have flocked to the North Shore this evening to see several of country music’s biggest stars, including Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, perform at PNC Park.

The city hopes, this time, they don’t leave tons of trash behind.

Hoping to avoid the mess left behind by Luke Bryan concert-goers earlier this summer and Kenney Chesney concert-goers last summer, the city put in place some new rules and restrictions.

Some of the major changes include strictly enforcing what time people could get into the lots for tailgating.

The lots opened at 2 p.m., three and a half hours before the gates opened to PNC Park for the concert.

The tailgaters were given trash and recycling bags. Also, more port-o-potties were brought in as well.
